His consulting experience has included the exploration, strategic formulation, and application of emerging opportunity, working with organizations such as The Turner Corporation, Verizon Wireless, and Campus Crusade.

 

Formerly, Steve was an executive at The ServiceMaster Corporation where he was responsible for company-wide B2B strategy.  Steve became the CIO for WeServeHomes.com, a Kleiner-Perkins-Caufield-Buyers startup venture backed company where he managed an $18 million technology budget and built a technology team of more than 50 people.

 

Steve has seasoned experience as both a Fortune 500 executive and with enterprising start-up companies.  As a sophomore in college, he began his first software company focusing on niche vertical markets culminating in its successful acquisition 10 years later.   In 1997, Steve became a pioneer in the eLearning market demonstrating successful results to customers such as DuPont, CSC, and SAP America.

 

Steve holds a BS degree, graduating with honors in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana.  He also spent a year on scholarship studying at the University of Nottingham, England.

In the early 1980’s John was recognized for his success as a training executive for AT&T.  He built his organization from the ground up including the formation of its business infrastructure, and the development of the entire organization.  He was recognized for his on-time delivery and excellent performance indicators, receiving marks of exceptional performance.

 

In 1989, John achieved national recognition when he was awarded Bellcore’s highest honor available, the "Distinguished Member of Staff" award.  He was recognized for his professional excellence, including his technical expertise, overall knowledge, and training excellence. In 1997, John was further recognized by receiving national status as a Certified Technical Trainer.

 

John retired from Bellcore in 1998 and has since been operating as an independent consultant and corporate trainer.  Leveraging over 30 years of UNIX and programming experience, he has written his own courses and has delivered customized training for companies including Level 3 Communications, Telcordia, and SAIC.  Today, John operates as a Stesco Consultant focusing on operation efficiency and knowledge management solutions.

 

John has an MS and BS degree with honors from Rutgers University.

John R. Horvath is a principal consultant and founding partner of Stesco Consulting.  He has enjoyed a distinguished career spanning over thirty years of work with both large corporations and small business.  His accomplishments are diverse including executive leadership, technical development, and corporate training.

 

John started his career at Bell Laboratories where he was one of three people who designed and built all hardware and software for the original Picture-Phone.

Manny has extensive experience with Enterprise IT solutions and deployment, specifically helping organizations leverage new and emerging technologies.  Recent experience includes the utilization of innovative and emerging technologies, including the semantic web, to create organizational and competitive differentiation.  His experience has helped organizations attain targeted results from IPTV, video-on-demand, encryption, and virtual community management.

 

Early in his career, Manny used state-of-the-art technologies to create profitable impact within the financial services sector.  Using a strategic and highly targeted methodology to foster innovation, he helped Citizens National Mortgage, an unknown banking firm at the time, become the 19th largest mortgage banker in the country. His strategic contribution focused on the design, implementation, and operations management of telecommunications and IT. 

 

Manny also developed a rich experience and deep working knowledge in helping organizations embrace customer relationship management (CRM) and content management solutions (CMS).  This experience was further enriched when Manny served as a Vice President of Kintera, a world-class provider of content management solutions.  He was responsible for designing, selling, and deploying enterprise solutions, including the sales and process management of the non-profit and faith-based markets.

 

Today, Manny’s consultative approach helps organizations strategically embrace emerging technologies and social media.
